At this writing, I can say that I really wish we had kept the City Ticker Roll for some later project, but we did not. We managed to get the steel box removed from the front of the bus with a grinder and many hours of work. Then we removed the ticker from the box and rolled it out to appreciate the nostalgia. There were a lot of cities on the list!

There was so much work to be done right at first, both inside and out. The bus had these wonderfully huge luggage bins running through from one side to the other. These would be where we would eventually house our water tanks, electrical systems, etc.
We laid plywood on the floor and sides of the bins and then indoor/outdoor carpeting in some. This was much better for storage than dealing with the ribbing and bare metal and made the lower compartments look more finished.
The one mishap we encountered while doing this was the tiny drill hole that Scott put in the auxiliary fuel tank when drilling pilot holes for the siding screws. He was devastated. It was easily fixed, though, and we learned another thing that we did not know before.
