On this cool day in April, we were itching to get out of the house and get a few miles in. We were just back from our trip to San Antonio and the weather was nice enough to get out there and ride.
We were totally unaware when we hit the trail that we would have even more fun that expected when we happened upon the Spring Concert Series that the city of Columbus, Georgia hosts every year. The series spans four consecutive fridays in April/May.
The city closes Broadway Avenue, between 11th and 12th streets, and a stage is erected for the band of the evening. The public is encouraged to bring lawn chairs and hang out to enjoy good food from the local shops and good music from the band. Every friday has a different band/genre and the night we happened upon the scene the music was contemporary to classic rock. I think the next week was supposed to be jazz.

Lots of folks showed up and had a great time. There were plenty of well behaved dogs in the crowd, save one or two. Edgar had a great time enjoying his dinner with his peeps.
