RoadTrek to Indianapolis

Posted on:

Indianapolis, IN would not be a city that would come to my mind right away as a place that I desperately wanted to go explore. However, as with all of our travels, it is always about the journey and the surprising things we encounter and discover along the way.

We had a show to do in Indianapolis on this weekend and it just happened that the show was in the same general facility as the RCA Dome where the Colts team played from 1984-2007. The building is gone now, demolished in 2008, but when we were there, this is the view we had.

Of course, we did have to work this weekend, which was always exhausting. Standing at the shows was the worst part of the work we were doing at this time. It really was draining. The shows only took a small fraction of our work time (about 4-6 days per month) and the rest of our work was done via phone, mail, and eventually via our website. So all the remaining time we had was free and fabulous!
