Ford E250 Van Deconstruction Video Guide
We have spent a lot of time deconstructing this van so we decided to make a video showing it in more detail. You can see from how much grime there was there would be a lot of work to do still. It is certainly going to be a lot of work but we are looking…

Van Work and Our First Drive
Work on the van continues, but more importantly, we were able to take our first drive out of town in the van. We drove south towards Dothan on a shake down drive of sorts, and everything went great.

More Van Deconstruction with Panels
We now have the inside cleaned out and the side panels are removed. Both have been pulled off the van now, but one is completely rotten and will need to be rebuilt, the other was mostly ok and we will recover.

Removing Side Panels and Carpet in the Van
This is our ongoing project of our camper van version of our E250 Econoline van. Today we took out all the side panels and started to remove the carpet.

Removing All Remaining Passenger Seats from Van
Today we did the big task of removing all the seats from the passenger van we are converting into a camper van. This was a huge task that we enlisted the help of our nephew Zech who was a huge help.

Van Cleaning and Prep Day

Our New Ford Econoline E-250 Camper Van
We bought a model 2000 Ford Econoline E250 to convert it into a camper van. It may be the cool #vanlife hashtag now, but we have done this before when we converted a Greyhound Bus into an RV.

Removing Seats from a Econoline Passenger Van
Today we started removing the seats and all the stuff attached to the seats. We must have removed hundreds of pounds of seats and hardware. The steel bolts and bracket themselves weighed a ton.

Cleaning and Removing Door Panels from Van
We’ve only had the van a few days but we started working on getting the inside cleaned out and removing the door panels to clean and recover. Edgar helped a lot.

We Bought a Ford Econoline E250 Van
We bought a well used Ford Econoline E250 extended van to make into a camper van. This may be a little van life and a little rv life but it’s a lot like what we did with the bus only on a smaller scale. Driving the Van Home Van Photos
